From the age of five, Leigh has been illustrating clothing and accessories.
At University of Rhode Island she began with a traditional college education, but knew shortly after, she belonged in NYC studying what she loved. At Fashion Institute of Technology, Leigh excelled in the fashion design program, earning her bachelor's degree and graduating with honors. During her time at FIT, she held an internship & then job at Oscar de la Renta lingerie. Starting in foundations proved to be a beneficial introduction to the industry, learning the body and all the particulars of patternmaking. She went on to design activewear and women's sportswear, primarily for private label companies making product for; Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Antrhopologie, White House/Black Market, Chicos and QVC.
Enjoying a hands-on approach, Leigh has experienced all aspects of the business enabling her to have a full scope of the design and production process. She strives to make effortlessly cool, solution-based pieces in sizes for all.
